Our CBD Oil is Now Certified Organic!
That's right, our CBD Oil is now Certified Organic! Our ingredients haven't changed-we've always used organic ingredients in our oils but our labels will now carry the organic seal.
To carry an organic seal, CBD products must:
- Contain organic ingredients
- Contain CBD that was extracted in a certified facility
- Be made in a certified facility
Our hemp farm has been organically certified by Vermont Organic Farmers since 2019. This certification process follows the same guidelines set forth by the USDA's National Organic Program Standards for field crops. More recently, we began extracting our CBD in an organic facility. Additionally, we received organic certification for our own bottling facility. Now that we've ticked all of the necessary boxes, we are proud to put the organic seal on our CBD Oils!
You might be wondering why our CBD Capsules don't carry the organic seal. The capsules contain organic ingredients; however, they are made by a third-party manufacturer that is not certified organic but is FDA registered and Good Manufacturing Services (GMP) compliant.
At Lily Hill, we are passionate about the quality of our products from seed to shelf! We carefully monitor quality at every step of the process, from growing and sourcing our ingredients to creating and bottling our final products. We hope our new organic labels provide extra peace of mind that our CBD Oils never contain any pesticides or other chemicals.
