CBD Energy Bites
Note: We used our 1000 mg CBD Oil for this recipe, but any of our unflavored CBD oils will work just as well. We note below how much to use depending on which strength oil you have on hand.
Yield: 16 energy bites
80mg of total CBD
Serving Size: 2 energy bites
CBD/serving: 10 mg
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cups shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- ½ cup almond butter (or any nut butter you prefer)
- ½ cup dried cherries
- ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 80 mg CBD
- 500mg CBD Oil: 4 3/4 droppers
- 1000mg CBD Oil: 2 1/2 droppers
- 1800mg CBD Oil: 1 1/3 droppers
Instructions:
-
Place all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine. If the mixture seems too wet, add a bit more coconut. If it’s too dry, add a bit more nut butter. It should resemble a somewhat sticky dough that holds together when lightly squeezed. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set (this will make the dough easier to roll later on).
-
Remove the bowl from the fridge and portion the dough into 16 bites (they will be about one inch in diameter).
-
Store leftover energy bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Enjoy!
